What We Charge
We don't hide our fees and we are not ashamed to publish them here. We already know that they represent excellent value for money. Please examine the following options available to you and decide for yourself:
Our services start from as little as £25.00. You can even arrange a monthly spending ceiling limit (£100 min), in advance, so that you can you can monitor exactly what we give you for your money and also budget accurately over a set time period.
Four flexible options are offered:
1/ Copywriting:
Normally, we charge a very reasonable hourly or daily rate which is fixed and agreed in advance and is based on various factors of the work involved. Our average rate works out at around £40 per hour. Now, we do know that you can get slightly cheaper rates elsewhere; so if general cheapness is what you really need, you're browsing the wrong website.
You may simply prefer us to charge you for each word we write; and we can do that too.
2/ Enhanced Proofreading (Word Count):
A simple flat fee of 8 pence per word for the number of words analysed, - no matter how many changes are suggested.
Note: 'word-count' charging carries a minimum charge of £25.00, - which usually covers slightly more text than an A4 printed page. (These figures are based on the average number of words in an A4 manuscript page being 280-330 using a common font, (e.g. Times Roman), 12 pts, double spaced).
3/ Enhanced Proofreading (Changes Only):
We will proofread any document at a flat rate of 2 pence per word. An additional charge of 50 pence is made for each suggested change. To illustrate:-
An average A4 page of printed text would cost around £6.00 to proofread if no changes were needed, with an additional £7.50 if 5% of the page required changes. This option is very cost effective and is extremely popular with our clients who already have a good grasp of grammar and punctuation but want the peace of mind of knowing that they haven't missed a simple error. (Note: There is a minimum fee of £25.00, - or 4 pages of text for this service).
4/ Time Charging:
We can charge only for the time we spend on your project. This work usually employs a varied mixture of our services as listed above and can also include such tasks as specialist research and competitor comparisons. Time-charging is usually very cost-effective and rewarding for those larger projects. It is often beneficial for us to work together with you, attending meetings or participating in conference calls, planning your message and compiling your text with you. Our daily fee offers best value as it is fixed in advance, - after negotiation with you. The negotiations take into account such factors as: Project size; total expected time involved; fixed deadlines; amount of travel and the proposed frequency of telephone discussions, possible online collaboration and emails, etc. As an indication, our typical time-charge averages £38.00 per hour

Many of them find it surprisingly simple to send us every text they produce, pay their pre-agreed fixed monthly fee (or sometimes less), and then relax until all their texts have been analysed.
